Stop holding yourself back. You are so full of life and there is so much ahead of you and time's not waiting for anyone.
- Don't think things that hold you back
- Don't [watch/read] things that hold you back
- Don't surround yourself with people that hold you back.

These three things you can change if you choose to

Lesson8: The Future Is Here!

Be future-minded. The wise choose today what will make them happy tomorrow while the fools choose today what will only make them happy today.

When making decisions think of the future and how every action will either help you move closer to or farther from your dream.

Do not join the multitude in choosing the quick pleasure of now over the lasting satisfaction and pleasure of tomorrow.

Now is the time to make the future. The Future Is Here!!

Lesson7: Be Conscious Of What You Attract

The law of attraction says that you will attract into your life what constitutes your dominant thoughts.

When you have decided where it is you want to be find out what people who are at that place already do, how they dress, the activities they take part in and begin emulating such.

Visualize yourself daily being who you want to be and doing all you want to do, let yourself feel whatever feelings you think would accompany the accomplishment of your goals. Yes, daydreaming is a wonderful tool!

It’s a proven theory that the object of your focus will always be attracted into your life and the intensity varies with the intensity of the emotions behind the thoughts. That’s why your fears will most likely happen to you. You can do away with fear and all negativity and focus on the things you do want in your life and attract them into your life.

Be an inverse paranoid, instead of thinking that everyone is trying to hurt you, choose to think everyone is trying to do good to you, to favor you.

Lesson6: Believe

Stop waiting for people to believe in you before you believe in yourself. We all want that, but the truth is it’s easier to believe in someone who believes in himself.

Truth is there’s no praise for someone who fails, but no matter how many times you fail they are forgotten the moment you succeed. What’s important is that you pick yourself up every time you fall and give it your best shot again. Sometimes all you need is to change your method. Keep trying new things till one works.

We’d rather not face challenges, it’s human nature, but the things we learn on our way to overcoming these challenges, the person we become can never be taken from us. Change that, decide to embrace challenges.
We’re in an environment that doesn’t really support the dreams of others and poverty is not hard to see, but it’s up to you whether you’ll believe in yourself, dream big or not.

Let your goals always be so big that you think you can’t do it without divine help – that’s a dream worth dreaming!
Never let anyone including yourself, deny you of your dreams.
Choose to believe! You can do it if you believe you can!

Lesson5: Failing Forward

“Success is the ability to go from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm”
-Winston Churchill

Many of us have failed at a lot of different things. It might be acting, dancing, singing, soccer, tennis and even school work. Whatever your goals and dreams are, never give up. If you work at hard anything long enough you will be very good at it and the world will know that too, it’s just a matter of time. Too many people give up just when the breakthrough is super close.

Success is 10% inspiration/talent and 90% perspiration. Even the ones that seem talented work very hard at it. Many people are referred to as talented and actually it doesn’t come easy to them, they just practice a lot more than the average person.

Never give up, when you keep working at something you might not see the fruits immediately, but when you have prepared yourself you will be more than ready to seal the deal when the opportunity comes by.

Lesson4: Let Things Go

Develop the habit of letting things go very easily. No one can exist successfully entirely by himself, as long as you relate to humans there’s bound to be some disappointment amongst other things.
Many times, it’s the people closest to us that hurt us, it’s not common for someone whom you have no relationship or connection with to hurt you. There’s a popular saying: “to err is human.” No one’s perfect. Don’t see these people as beasts. If you will look into things properly, you will find that you hurt a lot of people yourself. Never get to a place where you think others are the problem and you are an angel. Thinking yourself to be perfect is proof that you have some major issues.

The truth is that people will hurt you, let you down, betray you, amongst other things but it’s up to you if you’ll let these things hold you back or not. It’s your choice whether you will build strong emotional feelings attached to these pains and hold on to them.
I’ve come to notice that people hurt one many times with no idea of what they have done and they go on living their lives, having fun and making progress while one replays the hurtful incident over and over in the mind, not moving on.

Don’t let the people make you by their actions or inactions, decide who you want to be and BE! Decide if you want to be happy, have fun, be in class early, make good grades and don’t let the actions of others be the tool with which you will tie yourself down.

You might have gone through unimaginable events that many haven’t. There are many stories of people who forgave all sorts of great evils done to them. You are alive! Feel the hurt, let it go and be who you want to be!

Lesson3: You Have All You Need

You’re special. No one on earth is like you. No one has the slants, experiences and talents that you have. There might be people who have certain similarities but no two people are the same.

If you are trying to please everybody or some certain people, it’s time to stop. Being someone you are not to get the approval of others is never the way to get it. Be yourself, always stand for the things you believe in. Do what you believe is right by you, your conscience and your God.

Don’t lose yourself in the trap of trying to be someone you are not. It never ends well, and worse , you even begin to dislike who you have become.
If the people around you at the moment don’t accept you for who you are, move on. There’s someone somewhere waiting for you.

All you need to be happy and successful is within you.

Lesson2: Take Complete Responsibility For Your LIfe

Take 100% responsibility for your life. Don’t let things just happen to you, decide what happens. Everyone doesn’t have to be your friend. Choose the people you hang with, choose the people you tell about your dreams. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad and never stop believing in yourself, if you don’t who will?

Never play the blame game, it doesn’t pay off, it gets nothing done. Ask yourself how you might have contributed to something and take responsibility. Be solution-minded, save a lot of time, energy and self-respect by not participating in the finger-pointing game. Think of the way forward, how to get out of it and never get back in the mess.

You cannot control what others do or think but you can control your actions and attitude. Whatever happens, it is up to you if you will respond positively or negatively.
Whatever has happened has happened. It’s your choice what you will do, how you will respond to these things.

At the end of the day, you can never blame someone else for not becoming all you could have been. Everyone did what they did, your responses were your choice. If you let your feelings overwhelm you and you make wrong decisions, they are still your decisions.
